Paperwork, case 3: renting a flat

One landlord slipped me a contract to sign three times (!) that said 12 deposits for moving out early.
Each time in a different place.
Each time the innocent face, as if they hadn't read the document before handing it to me to sign — it's all their realtor, you see.
Until then we'd been on good terms with them.
I lost my illusions after the third time — the fourth time I told them to send me the rental contract on WhatsApp for approval first.
After the third time I also threw a fit, telling them that we're friends, that our relationship doesn't allow for treating me like that, and that they said one thing to my face and another on paper.
And then I still reread the paper contract during the signing — what if? I wasn't the one who printed it.
And it looks like this is my strength — to go full maniac on legal documents and be that chihuahua that may be tiny, but fuck.
It makes me happy.
Other people may be different, afraid to deal with paperwork or to stand their ground, but me, well 😊🙄
And it turns out I already have experience.
If I make it to old age, I'll probably be that very grandma who will methodically wear anyone the fuck out, given a reason.
Otherwise — a sweet creature, bows, little flowers, and I love warmth.
