Short answer: Start with the venue or organiser’s programme, then follow its ticket link. Check the exact performer, date, ticket category and entry conditions before paying.
Where should I look for events and tickets?
| Source | What the source provides |
|---|---|
| SoldOut Tickets | Event listings and ticket purchases, with music, theatre, dance and children’s-event categories |
| Eventbrite Cyprus | Cyprus event listings, including business and networking events |
| Luma | Event discovery and event-page creation |
| Ticket Tailor | Online ticketing tools used by event organisers |
| Visit Cyprus | The Deputy Ministry of Tourism’s events listings and calendar |
SoldOut has Greek, English and Russian navigation. Its current English homepage is soldoutticketbox.com/en/home. Use the venue’s or organiser’s link to confirm the seller for a particular event instead of relying on a similar-looking domain.
Event platforms have different listings. Check the programme itself rather than assume one platform covers every Cyprus event or is the island’s “main” seller.
Which venue programmes can I check?
- Pattihio Theatre publishes a performance schedule with event dates, ticket prices and ticket links. Its current programme links individual shows to SoldOut or Ticketmaster Cyprus.
- Rialto Theatre publishes a monthly programme. Its October 2026 listings include the International Short Film Festival of Cyprus at Rialto in Limassol, 10–16 October.
For a club, beach venue or community event, use the organiser’s current announcement to confirm the location, schedule and registration process. Do the same for football tickets: check the relevant club’s instructions for that match, including any membership or identification requirements. Do not assume a season ticket guarantees priority for every international match.
What festivals are listed for 2026?
These are dated programme entries, not permanent annual dates:
| Festival | Official 2026 listing | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Limassol Carnival | 12–22 February 2026 | Visit Cyprus entry naming Limassol Municipality as organiser |
| Kataklysmos | 30 May–1 June 2026 in the national calendar | Visit Cyprus annual events calendar |
| Limassol Wine Festival | 26 September–4 October 2026, Limassol Municipal Gardens | Limassol Municipality’s Greek programme page |
Kataklysmos town programmes can cover their own dates and activities. Check the local organiser’s programme for the event you intend to attend. For future editions, wait for that year’s published dates rather than plan from the table above.
How much should I budget for tickets?
Use the listed price for the exact performance and ticket category. Two Pattihio examples checked on 3 October 2026 illustrate why a universal price range is unhelpful:
- Bagjan Oktyabr, 3 October 2026: tickets listed from €35.
- Οικογένεια Κουάξ, 4 October 2026: tickets listed at €12.
These are examples from the venue’s programme, not current availability guarantees or typical prices for all artists. Check the checkout total and any booking charges, concessions or age conditions before purchasing.
What should I check before booking?
- Performer and programme: read the full event description. A show featuring a composer’s music does not by itself mean the composer appears in person.
- Date and venue: confirm the year, start time, exact address and entry instructions.
- Ticket category: check whether it includes a seat, standing entry or a separate add-on.
- Conditions: read age limits, accessibility arrangements, cancellation and refund terms.
- Confirmation: keep the booking receipt and ticket, and check any instructions about identification or transferring a ticket.
If tickets are sold out, ask the organiser about an official waiting list, additional dates or authorised resale. Confirm whether a transferred ticket will be accepted before paying a private seller. For a themed event, use that event’s own dress-code instructions.
