Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in Limassol, 3–4 November 2026: meditation evenings and how to attend
Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, founder of The Art of Living, visits Cyprus from 3 to 5 November 2026. He will lead two public evenings in Limassol: a satsang with music and meditation, and a meditation masterclass. Here is what each evening is, when and where it takes place, and how to get a place.
The two evenings
1. Satsang with Gurudev — Tuesday, 3 November 2026, 7:30–9:00 PM, Parklane Resort, Limassol
A satsang is a gathering of chanting, devotional songs (bhajans), group meditation and a short talk. You don't need any experience: you sit, listen, sing along if you want and meditate with the group. The organisers added this evening because the masterclass on 4 November sold out early.
Seats are limited. Register: www.events-artofliving.eu/satsang-cyprus
Enquiries: phone +357 99 149872, email cyprus.info@artofliving.org
2. "Unlock Happiness Within" masterclass — Wednesday, 4 November 2026, 6:30–8:30 PM, Patticheio Municipal Theatre, Limassol
A guided meditation with practical talk on dealing with stress and finding inner calm. According to the organisers, this evening is sold out.

Who it is for
Both evenings are open to everyone, whatever your nationality, religion or experience with meditation. If you have recently moved to Cyprus, they are also an easy way to meet people: the Art of Living community on the island mixes Cypriots, Indians and expats from many countries.
Practical tips
- Register for the 3 November satsang early: it was opened for people who missed the sold-out masterclass.
- Come 20–30 minutes before the start to find parking and a seat.
- Wear comfortable clothes: you will sit still for a long time.
- Event pages and ticket sites change; check the details on the registration page before you go.
Gurudev and Cyprus
This is not his first visit. In September 2022 he led an evening of meditation at the High Commission of India in Nicosia. Between his visits, Art of Living teachers and volunteers in Cyprus have run courses and public events, including International Yoga Day in Paphos, Nicosia, Larnaca and Limassol.
The visit also comes at a time of closer ties between India and Cyprus. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Cyprus in June 2025, and in May 2026 Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides visited India, where the two countries announced a Strategic Partnership.
About The Art of Living
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar founded The Art of Living in 1981. The foundation teaches breathing techniques, meditation and yoga, and runs humanitarian projects such as education, disaster relief and water conservation. It says it is active in more than 180 countries. In 2016 he received the Padma Vibhushan, India's second-highest civilian award, and in December 2024 he spoke and led a meditation at UN Headquarters in New York ahead of the first World Meditation Day.
